Brake & turn signal options Kia Soul

We are in the process of setting up our 2013 Soul as a toad. Am considering either a towmate wireless led light system or going the diode route. Does anyone have experience with either option in this vehicle. Thanks.

No experience with your Soul, but there is a 3rd option. Installing new bulbs in the taillight housing and wiring them to the coach. No diodes needed. Several companies sell the "Bulb and Socket" kits.

Just in case you haven't seen this, here is a good web site for general information on pros and cons of the different systems.

On the tow lights I went with the Peterson V426KR tail and turn signal round lights will fit in the round holes where the red reflectors are, just remove the reflectors and install the Peterson lights and the black rubber cover in the holes. If your toad brake is mashed by your add on toad towing brake system your toad brakes when mashed will cover up the turn signal if You use the toad tail lights with diodes or a add a bulb not only that if you try to use the diode system you will find that the South Korea vehicles have a extreamly small wires, they are very hard to splice into.
