It's the center pin of the 6 way 12 volts hot off of coach. You should already have a ground.

One other way to ensure the towd battery does not run down is to use a power supply to power the Brake Buddy. I am not sure the official name, but it essentially is sold as a portable jump starter. They come with a plug in to power devices like brake buddy. Handy to have around if you need to jump start something also.

Most computer engine drains the battery constantly. Short circuits cause a drain or any electrical system the has been left on can drain the battery. If you have more Jeep repair questions this guys will help you..
