I am pulling a 2006 Chevy silverado with golf cart in bed of truck. Approx 6000 lbs. We pull this behind a Monoco 2002 with 330 cummings. Pulls great but haveing problem with Brake buddy. It shows no brakeing on remote when stopped. I have air pressure up at 60lbs. I have tried brake buddy in pick up and it will activate at 35 mph in pick up with brake buddy beside on floor of truck. If you push test button on brake buddy it will activate. remote in coach.I have used this in previous motorhome and worked OK. Was useing lighter car. Have called brake buddy not much help. Any ideas or do I need a different system. Thanks in advance for any ideas Darrel

Stopped or stopping?

The Brake Buddy only works on deceleration. It doesn't apply any braking when stopped.

Along with the air adjustment there is also a sensitivity adjustment (the LEDs). If it is too low it takes a hard stop to activate.

We keep the setting at mid-range, really don't want a hard stop on the toad, just enough to eliminate any push on the MH. Our toad is 4,000lbs, so no problems at all.
