Brake Buddy question

Hi, for those with brake buddy sup. brakes -- Is there a slight delay between the time you apply the motorhome brake and the brake buddy kicks in? and/or delay after you release the motorhome brake and the tow brake releases?

Yes, but it is so small as to not be an issue. You can either turn it up so that you can really feel it engage and disengage or watch the light on the alert sensor. You will see that the delay is negligible. Then be sure to reset it to the proper setting.

You didn't say which model of Brake Buddy you have, but yes a slight delay is normal and does not affect overall braking. The system first has to sense when the coach is braking and then apply the toad brakes, same thing in reverse when you release the coach brakes.
