After 5 years and 24,000 miles my Brake Buddy decided to lock up while going up a hill. I was 500 miles from home so I just disconnected it and called Brake Buddy customer assistance when I got home. They could not help and transfered me to the repair department. I was told to ship my unit to them and they would check it out. Eight days after shipping it was returned to me. They installed an updated circuit board, replaced the air compressor, put on a new power cord, put on the new style clevis and sent a 12 volt wiring kit so you can power it directly from the battery. The cost for all of this was nothing! Free!!! I'm still amazed that a company would do this for a 5 year old unit. Just thought I would give credit to a company that takes care of its customers.

Mike, this was exactly the type of service that I also received from Brake Buddy. I'll bet I have more fingers on either hand than there are other companies that have such service committments, Ken,'04 DSDP...
