Brake Buddy Stealth in a Ford Hybrid?

Has anyone installed a Brake Buddy Stealth in a Ford C-Max, Fusion or Lincoln MKZ hybrid? If so, did you install it with or without the vacuum assist? And how did it get power? As the Ford does not get towed with the ignition on, did it have direct battery feed? How is it working and would you recommend it?

Thanks!

I have the Brake Buddy Setup but still have not had the Base Plate installed on my C Max Energi. Ford says leave the ignition on with the car in neutral. Every 500 miles started the car and shipper trying to drive in reverse to lubricate the system. . I made sure that this was documented in writing by Ford Motor Company before I purchased my vehicle.

Brake Buddy on C-Max

Which Brake Buddy? I have a classic that came with my Blue Ox Tow bar. Brake Buddy tech told me that it would not work on the C-Max. I was told it would not work with the electric brakes on the C-Max. The tech I talked to said that they had no systems for Hybrids. I have since learned that some will but not the Classic. I ordered a Ready Brake and will sell the Brake Buddy Classic. It was only used once by the previous owner.

My son-in-laws gear head father helped me install the Blue OX base plate. The instructions and video are good. We could not drill the 1.25" holes. Fortunately he had a torch so we just burned in the holes. The metal at that point is very hard. It took us 8 hours. We spent two much time installing the Brake Buddy break away and now can't use it.

I did install the Brake Buddy Stealth on my MKZ hybrid. It gets power from the coach and does have the vacuum pump installed. It works great and I have had no problems with it with over 5,000 miles (except an initial installation glitch where the vacuum pump was not properly installed and cam loose).
