Brake Buddy; Vantage vs Classic

I did not have much luck with the search function for this, so . . .

I have a BrakeBuddy Classic (2005) and have an opportunity to buy a used Vantage model (2010) for a very reasonable price. Would I gain a lot going to the Vantage? It is my understanding that you would have to get the Vantage Select to get the proportional braking option, correct? My toad is a Trailblazer 4x4 and the BB Classic model seems to work ok. Thanks.

Several years ago,we traded in our Classic for a Select to get the remote with the proportional control & we like it. If you want that control, go for it.

Thanks, NLOVNIT. Rather that put more money into the Brake Buddy line, I have decided to dump the 'football' and have ordered the NSA Ready Brute Elite.
