Brake systems

I have a 2013 Honda CR-V that I need to setup to flat tow. Thoughts on Brake Buddy, Even Brake, or Invisabrake?

Brake unit

We have towed a CRV for 4 years. Chose the Blue Ox Patriot unit. Light, easy set up and great customer service.

I know not one of your choices but I use the Ready Brake Elite to flat tow my 2014 CRV auto AWD.

The tow plate is Blue Ox.

Having one and using it matters more than what brand you use! I've been using a RoadMaster BrakeMaster 9160. That includes a breakaway which is required for any travel in WA state.

Not a fan of the Invisibrake. I have had mine come on by itself. Others have too.

My next one will be the Ready Brake. No electronics.

We have used a Brake Buddy for the past five years including almost three years on a 2014 AWD CRV. We have not had any problems and it is easy to set up.

I have a Brake Buddy and it has worked very well for 6 yrs now. It's relatively easy to set up and you can transfer it to an alternate vehicle. You didn't say what type of RV you have but if it is a diesel you might want to look at the Air Force One. Almost no set up on that.
