brakes on dolly in canada

Looking to buy a car dolly and need to know if I would need braking system to travel in Canada. Have a 2007 Southwind 37C and would tow a CRV.

Probably a good idea, even if it isnt law. You might be glad you did the first really big hill you come to.

AFAIK most provinces require brakes on anything over 2000 lbs.
