Great ride and toad. Check out Ready Brute tow bar / brake combo.

Wrangler is a great toad. I use Blue Ox Aventa and Brake Buddy on my Grand Cherokee. Everything is easy to set up and take down.

I like my Wrangler Unlimited. Rigged with Blue Ox base plate, Ready Brute Elite tow bar, and Cool Tech lighting harness.

I have a Jeep also, although not a Wrangler, but it is a great choice. I use an entire Roadmaster system, from tow bar to brake system. Works great!

We just replaced our GMC P/U Toad with a 2013 Jeep Wrangler and have used M&G Engineering Brake System on both. I have used brake buddy and others over the years but the M&G is the best I have experienced.

Forgot to answer your question. The Jeep Wrangler is a great TOAD. Prior to the 2012 GMC and the 2013 Jeep that we just recently purchased, we towed a 2010 Wrangler Unlimited for about 40k miles and loved it. Towed the GMC for a couple of trips but it was too long and heavy so went back to the 2013 Jeep. Be sure to get your lights installed with diodes to prevent line feedback or you will have to disconnect the battery to keep from screwing up the electronics in your Jeep when you are connected to your MH braking harness.

I've logged over 30,000 miles towing my 2012 Wrangler for the past two years. I've been very pleased with my Blue Ox Aventa LX tow bar and M&G brake system. I also agree that diodes are the way to go for lighting. The entire set-up is so easy to hook up, and I've had no issues with any of its components. The Wrangler has served me well as a toad.

I tow a 2009 wrangler and just use the CoolTech wiring harness--no diodes, no additional lights. It taps into the jeep's rear driver's side brake light by plug and play (no cutting wires) and has works great. I know a lot if guys are big on the diodes, but this works for me (2 RVs now) and lots of others.

Will a late model Wrangler screw up my back even more than it is already? Getting different opinions on whether to buy or not!
