Think of it in the same terms as adding a tail to a kite. If the MH (kite) is unstable, then a toad (tail) might help.

On my previous gas coaches both Bounders one 1999 the other a 2000 a toad definitely helped. With out it the coach had a tendency to get a pushed around a bit more than it did with it on. But it comes down to a good hook up and having proper heights etc.
I'll let you know on the new to us Beaver DP if it helps or not after our upcoming trip.

Our tow bar is level. We added a drop hitch to make it level and we added 2 hitch immobilizer's to keep everything firm. It's amazing how it has worked.

We drove our 2016 GT 364TS a year before adding the toad and that is how we have noticed the difference. We always pulled into an area an rented a car in the past. I am amazed at the difference. Thank You

Absolutely......If your motorhome really needs a rear track bar but doesn't have one the toad can buffer that side to side wiggle that causes you to have to correct with the steering wheel.

The toad will definitely add stability to a gasser. As stated, it changes the aerodynamics, puts a pull on the back of the motor home, forcing it to track straight and it can help in cornering by slowing the coach down giving you more control in turns.
If yo notice, the people who said they saw no difference were primarily owners of diesel pushers. The DP's are more stout and don't feel the toads behind them like gassers do.

Curious, do you really see a difference with the immobilizers?

"MarkK"......I've been using a hitch immobilizer for several years now. Mine is used on the tow bar shaft (tow bar shaft into coach receiver). It stops all movement and clunking you get when you start and stop.

We own a gaser and the stability added has been a game changer. The back camera reminds us there is something back there. Truly amazing the difference.
