Changing toad from Fiat 500C to Honda HR-V

I am upgrading my toad from a 2013 Fiat 500C to a 2016 Honda HR-V. Had Blue OX base plate on the Fiat and have ordered the Blue Ox Base Plate for the HR-V.

Going up in weight from 2,500 to 2,900 pounds

I also put up a classified for the Fiat 500C in the IRV2 classified section, so you can now find it right here on IRV2, too.

CRV

Better check, if I am not right the new CRV can not be towed 4 down. Honda changed the transmission this year.

safe travels

The OP states he is buying an HRV (it's a FIT derivative) and it is 4 down towable when equipped with a 6 speed.

Yes HR-V with manual is flat towable 4 down, only restriction Honda has put on it is to limit speed to 65 MPH when flat towing it. Blue Ox started selling a base plate for it a few weeks ago.
