Hi all,

A lot of folks use Trackers/Grand Vitaras for TOADs so I thought I'd give this a shot ...

As you can see below we have been using a 2001 Tracker V6 4WD (60K miles, no off roading)as a toad for the last couple of years with no problems ...but... now I'm getting a slight leak of 70w90 fluid from the front differential where the right axle shaft goes into the diff. Anyone had this prob ? Related to towing ? I'm hoping that it is just the oil seal which I will DIM.

Thanks for "listening"

Roger

We towed a 2000 Tracker 4X4 for 3 years and had no problems similar to the one you mentioned. The only problem occured when new with a improperly installed wheel seal - repaired under warenty.

Roger,
I have not had that problem in my 2000 Tracker or my current 2003.

Thanks for the responses,

I guess it's not a common problem and on further investigation I'm quite sure that it's the seal ... just add it to my T/D list.

Hi Gary ...its been awhile I need to get on the other board again
