Chevy Pickup with Rampage Motorcycle Lift

Newbies would appreciate feedback from those towing full size pick up trucks with a Rampage motorcycle lift in the truck. Thanks!

I had a 2005 Silverado that I towed behind a Newmar Essex and a Millennium Prevost. I had a Rampage lift mounted in the Silverado and used that for my Harley Electraglide. I worked, but it was scary at times. Most of the time. It wasn't stable coming up into the truck. I had a trained installer put it in the bed and it almost fell over the first time the bike came up.

I sold the Rampage and bought a Cruisercaddie, which was approx. $1000 less then the Rampage and it works great. It's all aluminum and is in 4 lightweight pieces. So when we go to Florida in the winter I can take it out of the truck. The Rampage weighed so much it stayed in the bed all winter at the rv park.

I don't know what your questions are but I've tried everything to carry motorcycles.
