I chose Roadmaster for our F150 because of the installation. The base plates are mounted to the frame rails on the F150, and I didn't have to remove, drill, or cut anything. I watched a video on eTrailer, and the Blue Ox base plates required removing the front bumper and grill. Some may say that the Blue Ox base plates are a stronger and more secure. However, I did the install myself and I have checked the torque on the bolts after a year of towing, and all is good. The cross bar came with the Blackhawk II All Terrain, but Roadmaster says it's not to be used with the MX base plates.
