Class C. And Towing

I finally have my Jeep ready to tow behind my Fleetwood Class C. I installed all Blue Ox. All was easy to install. Purchased a Brake Buddy Brake Control and all works well. Now I hope the MH will tow fine.

Just remember (1) that the tow bar is to be level with the ground when hooked up.
(2) the steering wheel is unlocked
(3) here is no power to accessories with ignition key.
(4) camera on back of RV is adjusted so you can see tires of toad
(5) emergency brake is off
(6) transmission is out of gear

We do a walk around EVERYTIME we tow.

My wife goes back by the toad as I pull forward slowly and she checks that ALL tires are rotating and flashers are flashing.

It's very easy to drag a toad with the brakes set or the transmission in park. Believe me.

Most Jeeps are to be towed 4 down with the transfer case in neutral and the transmission in park. The steering wheel unlocked, some do not lock, so the front wheels will turn when you make a turn.

We towed a '95 Honda Odyssey on a dolly behind our Type C MH. Could tell it was there too. Went over the pass to the east of Jackson Hole, pretty much 10% up and 10% down for 6 miles. Slow but still made it both up and down.

You should do fine. My sis and brother-in-law have an Itasca C-Class and tow a Jeep easily. Drive carefully and have fun.
