Class C - Jeep Wrangler Toad

Is anyone towing a Jeep Wrangler with a Class C? Looks like an Itasca 29b would be capable. I am looking at a used class C, about a 2002 or a little newer.

As long as the wrangler is under the weight limit for the coach that's towing it, and you aren't loading down your class C so that you exceed the total cargo weight less the weight of the wrangler you will be fine. grades over 3% will be slow going, but that's typical unless you have a bigger diesel coach.

I used to tow a Wrangler behind my Forest River Solera (Mercedes cab and chassis).

I never had a problem. Had it for 3 years.

I towed my 2015 Wrangler with my Forester Class C with a Chevy 60 Gas Motor. It did ok, I was not the first one up the hill, but I was not the last one either. I had a SMI Stay and Play Braking System that worked great. JH

Have towed a Wrangler over 30,000 miles with no problems including a trip to Alaska and back.

Looks like a Itasca 29b would work. GCWR - 20,000lbs. GVWR - 14,050lbs. E450 chassis.

A 2002 29B came with a 3,500# hitch. That hitch wouldn't work for your jeep.

I tow a 2000 Jeep Wrangler with our Class C.

You can barely tell it is behind you.

I weighed it a couples years back and it came back a little under 4,000#. Remember there is no tongue weight.
