Can someone give us some insight on a problem that keeps popping up. It's with the cluster gauges. It's still under warranty but may not show itself when we take it into freightliner.
When starting it, it may be the tack that's dead, or the whole cluster that's dead. It takes shutting it off and starting it several times before they come on. Whats your thoughts??

Hmmm . . . my voltmeter randomly drops to 0 and then returns, especially when I engage the turn signals. Is that the type of problem to which you are referring??

We have not noticed anything when the turn signals are used but maybe just have not payed attention to it then. Just been noticed on start ups. Its the tach that will act up mostly and just stay at zero. Not every time though. If you shut it off and restart it will start working. Might take a couple restarts. A few times nearly the whole cluster will not move. I even believe sometimes it is delayed like a few secounds. Like three or four seconds into startup the tach will take off.
