I have a 2008 Canyon crew cab 4WD. I love the truck. It rides great and there is plenty of room for adults in the rear seat. It is easy to tow 4 down. Very simple to get ready to tow also. I was going to get the Colorado but the local Chevrolet dealer was not real interested in communicating with me, so I went to GMC. Glad I did, it is a great little truck. This from a guy who previously had 3 Ford trucks, the last being a F350 diesel.

We have a 2005 Colorado 4x4 auto crew and love it. I doesn't ride or handle as well as our Jeep Commander but it weighs about 1300 lb. less. It has 56,000 on the odometer and has been towed another 38,000. It's not as quite or as sophisticated as a Silverado or Sierra but it's lighter and it's fine. It also gets about 22mpg. It's been lubed and oil changed regularly (6000 miles) and it got new tires at 47,000 odometer miles. Other than that no repairs or problems. It's a great little truck!!

The Colorado and the Canyon are basically the same truck built in the same GM assembly plants. The primary differences are badging and decals and interior trim. I have a 2006 Canyon 4WD Crewcab also. I tow using Blue Ox baseplate and towbar and an SMI 4 wire stay n play braking system.
