cool tech harness oops

on the road. installed cool tech harness 2010 jeep wrangler, left and right turn signals on the toad are reversed. no longer have wiring diagram, can somebody please tell me what color wires to reverse at the toad 4 way plug in

Mine did the same thing. I forgot which ones I changed. Give them a call on the phone. I am sure they can help you. I would bet they have gotten a lot of calls. We can't be the only ones with the wires reversed.

You are best to buy a 12 volt circuit tester. They are about $5 at Home Depot or auto parts store. Clip one wire to ground, turn on one signal and touch the pointed end in each hole/contact point on the end of your umbilical cord and the one that lights intermittently is that signal. Do the same for the other signal and the lights. Then you can change your connection on your toad as appropriate.

Obviously it is a good time to draw a diagram for future reference.

The easy way is to simply plug in a test light.. On the tow vehicle hook one lead of the tow light to the chassis (Hitch) if it's a flat 4 plug use the "odd" pin as it's ground

Turn on the turn signals and find which one blinks

Note it and then turn the switch the other way (Turn signal)

Again look for the blinking lead

Swap those two
