Towing a 1997 Saturn SL1 - is it possible to power the radiator fan off my RV to assist with the tempature of transmission fluid? I am considering direct wiring with an off on switch in my RV cab.

What? I towed a 97 Saturn SL1 all over this country, then got a Jeep gave it to my grand daughter, towing that Saturn isn't going to hurt that transmission, why do you want to do that? Besides, your getting air into the rad going down the road.

There is no need to do anything to assist the SL1 for towing. If you are concerned about the life of the tranny fluid, use synthetic.

Not the Saturn transmission, you must be reading about the Cruze transmissions which are burning up from lack of lubrication when towing, it's a 6 speed, which Saturn is a 3 speed.
