Does anyone have any negative comments on using a Toyota Corolla manual trans. as a toad?

1990 - 2011 Toyota Corolla | Remco Towing

According to REMCO, most of the manual transmission Corollas are towable....none of the automatics are without modification.

CapnMorgan, I pulled a 93 Corolla 5 speed for many thousands of miles behind our motorhome. No problems, pulled very well, an excellent toad.

I have towed and still am, towing our 2006 without any problems. Using a Blue Ox setup.
I also towed a 1991 model for 15 years without any problems.
An excellent tow car for a gasser (weight),
