Hey Jim, I have a Tao Tao scooter also. I use this rack --
Scooter/Moped - Dirt Bike Hitch Carrier - MX-600X but I think I found it for less direct from the manufacturer -- or so I remember.

I really thought that would be the right toad for me -- before I started on this journey. I am fortunate to have been staying at friends or family and there has always been a car I could borrow. I really hate putting miles on someone else's car. Also, I have been in WA since early June and the hills spook me on the scooter. And then there's Sena and Lily. I found Doggles, but no helments in their size.

I'm still undecided about changing toads, just exploring possibilities for now.

Barb (RVM18), Sena (capuchin monkey, RVM Head Mascot) & Lily (Maltese/Yorkie)
2011 Shasta Cynara 230F & 2012 Smart Car toad, 272 watt solar system
The Journey is Our Destination. Full-timing since 5/18/2011 and loving it.
