CRV-What brand tow bracket is this?

I am looking at an 06 CRV which has a tow bracket already installed. I don't have a pic, but on each side of the bracket is a vertical bar with a fairly large hole in it and next to it about the 2 oclock position is a round tube with a hole in the center and two slits on each side of the tube at 3 and 9 oclock postion. Anyone know which brand tow bar this fits?

Need help from W owners with CRV's

Any of you that tow a Honda CRV? I am looking at an O6 which has a tow bracket already installed. I don't have a pic, but on each side of the license plate are two protrusions, one is a vertical flat bar with a hole in it, the other next to it is a round tube with a hole in the center and two slits at the 3 and 9 oclock positions. Can anyone tell me what brand tow bar fits this? I think the flat bar with hole must be for the safety chains.

Sounds like a blue ox baseplate without the removable pins. The vertical tab is for the safety cables. The tube is where the pins go. Replacement pins should be easy to get from Blue Ox or a dealer.

The flat one would be for the safety cable. The other would be really hard to say. Might visit some local RV shops and let them look at it.

Richard, thank you soooooooooo much for the info and the link. Yes, that is exactly what it looks like. I do have one question, in the diagram, how does the part #13 secure itself to the bracket on the car?

Usually those go in and then you rotate it to lock it. See the ring on the side of that part, pull that to unlock and rotate to remove. Should be in the owners manual

Thank you all, I appreciate your replies. Now I'll have to do some research, my existing tow bar is a Roadmaster All-Terrain with a single ear tab, so I don't know if I can use it with the Blue Ox bracket yet. Once I pick it up tomorrow, I can study it some more.

There are conversion brackets that you can purchase to fit the Blue-Ox base-plate to the tow bar.
