I did

Guess what? I did and spoke with a guy by the name of darrel who was very rude, He has no clue if it will work or not. He said that if it's like the others ( meaning blueox) then it should work. I asked him should or will it then he started talking and saying this and that and I asked him real nice to please stop and listen but he kept on talking. I told him that this was not the way to get your product out there. You should have a 100% answer to the question since roadmaster is a very well know towbar. He more or less didn't care if he made a customer happy or not.
So the answer to your reply yes I called them and they can't give me a answer.

Hmmm, that doesn't sound very customer-oriented.

Does anyone know if there is a baseplate that will just bolt directly onto the 2012 Wrangler? I don't like the sound of all this cutting/grinding, etc.

roadmaster baseplates bolt on but they are 200.00 more then the currie. I think I'll just spend the extra money and go with the roadmaster baseplates as I know they will fit. Would be nice to save the money but not if they don;t know if it will work with my towbar. I don;t want to give up my towbar as I love it.

Personally, if someone is rude to me when I call their business, I wouldn't buy from them anyhow. There are too many other options to put up with that BS.

I agree I started with a email 3 days ago and got no reply. So I called today and got this. So I just email a so called manager and will see if he replies. If not then forget it. If he can give me a answer then we will see. The cost is cheaper and I do like how it looks but I'm not opposed to going with roadmaster. Will keep you posted.

There is a Currie rep that posts on the Jeep JK forum. I don't know if he's the owner or what; lemme go look.
ETA--OK, I guess he's just a vendor over there. "David @ Currie Enterprises." Probably just in sales.

Glad I didn't go by what he said, Here's th reply from the manger.

Hi Marty, I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to bring this to my attention, an am sorry about the responses you have received from our Sales Department. The Currie’s will addressthe salesmen regarding this situation in our next meeting.

The Currie’s told me that theRoadmaster Sterling tow-bar does not work with the Currie base-plate.

We appreciate you considering Currieproducts and hope we can be of much greater assistance in the future. Onceagain, we are sorry about the situation.

Thank you very much, Marty.

Sincerely,

Kent
