Dead battery in ford sport trac
I have a 2010 ford sport trac with 6 cyl 4x4. On my first long trip, the battery died. I had to jump start and recharge the battery. To unlock the steering, you have to have the ignition switch in off position 2. I now know that in that position, the radio (even in sync) is drawing current. My question is what else is drawing current that causes the battery to discharge. I also use a Brake Buddy, but on my return trip I used a separate battery for it and still had the dead battery in the Sport Trac. What can be done to keep the battery charged while being towed? Love my Sport Trac otherwise. Hoppi
