I have been 2 years without a toad and have regretted it ever since. I am going to purchase a new toad this year. If you have the toad you can sight see and go to places that have easy parking and it is a insurance if something happens to your RV.

It really depends on you

Like many others when we started RVing we agonized on Toad VS No Toad as well as dolly vs 4 down.

Thought we would use Enterprise or Uber if we needed to go somewhere while camping.

Decided best way to decide was take an extended trip without a Toad.

On many instances Enterprise was too busy and couldn't deliver or get us back to the campground in time for our needs. In several instances we had to return the Enterprise vehicle before they closed on the weekend or wait till they opened Monday am, which was often well after we wanted to break camp and leave.

When it came to Uber, on too many occasions, "none were available in our area".

This solved the problem, for us, of Toad vs no toad.

Next trip we got a Dolly from U haul to tow our Toad. First rainy day of hookup made the decision to tow 4 down an easy one.

For us and our needs the choice is always take a toad and do so 4 down.
