What year Tahoe? Weight will depend on 2WD or 4WD, as well as other options. (But probably 5,000+ lbs)

2 Ford dealers told me we couldn't flat tow a 2012 F150 4x4 either, then I informed them which page in the owners manual it gave instructions about how to. I was a dangerous customer, I knew more about what I wanted to buy than the salesman knew about what he was selling. Research it more than just through the salesman at the dealer.

i tow a 2000 Z71, 4 wheel drive Tahoe, weights 5600 lbs (according to Cat Scale)

Very easy to place the transfer case in neutral.

Not many gassers are rated to tow over 5,000lbs. You didn't mention if yours was or not.

You must have the 2 speed transfer case so you can put the drive-line in neutral. I believe the 2 wheel drive cannot be flat towed without mods and the hybrid must be full time all wheel drive which would be an issue. But on a regular 4WD like mine, there is nothing easier. Weight is commonly quoted around 5500 lbs., but my guess is closer to 5800 with a full tank and some contents. Hope this helps.

For anyone to give you accurate information, more info is needed. What type of motorhome do you have? Gas or diesel? What's the GCWR? What YEAR AND MODEL Tahoe are you referring to? The more information you supply, the more accurate the responses can be. Good luck.

OK, so I called the Dealer and everybody is telling me I need a Drive shaft Disconnect For my 99 Tahoe 4WD, and I Pump setup.....

I was under the impression as long as the transfer case is in Neutral I can tow it with the Correct Bar/Brake setup..... ????

The 99 Tahoe can be flat towed with the transfer case in neutral and the trans in park. Will weigh around 5300 or so depending what is onboard. Have towed a Tahoe many miles, no problem.
