Have a Stay N Play duo in my 12 Honda fit...we are in the process of purchasing a 09 WGO Tour which has air brakes...I am assuming I need to change out to a SMI Air Force One system?

The Stay n Play will work fine with the Tour. One issue that has been brought up is that some rv's brake lights come on when the exhaust or engine brake engages. Mine does, but the inertia from the exhaust brake is not enough to activate the brakes on the toad. You can adjust the sensitivity of the braking system to avoid this issue but the braking system will still work when you need it to. I have been using mine behind my DP for three years with no problems.

No, you do not have to change out the Stay-in-Play for the Airforce One. The SnP will function exactly as it did behind your old gasser.
I am still using my SnP after three years on my Phaeton with no problems.

If you read through the posts on this and allied topics, you will find that this is one of those "Your Mileage May Vary" situations. Some people have successfully towed a Duo behind their air-brake-equipped coach, and some haven't had the same success. If you find yourself in the former category, great. If the latter, be aware that SMI has offered a Duo-for-AFO trade-in program in the past.

You might call the folks at SMI and get the official skinny on the Duo behind air-brake-equipped coaches, so you know going in what they think.

I had the Stay in Play installed when I had my previous coach. When I moved to a DP, I did not change my tow braking. It works perfectly fine with either gas or diesel. If you go to their website, you'll also read where this is perfectly acceptable.

I used the same Duo when we changed to a DP, no problems works fine. In my case, the engine brake turns on the brake lights when engaged, but there must be a separate circuit for that because it does not engage the Duo. You should be ok.
