I plan to use a 2007 Dodge Dakota 2 wd for a toad, has anyone used this type of truck and how did it do. I will be using a 2011 Coachmen Mirida to tow with. All advise would be appreciated.

Can't offer advice, Buddy, but will be interested in the replies to your question, as we're thinking along similar lines (but significantly older). Our only vehicle other than the MH is an 02 Kia Sedona, which is much too heavy (>4800 lb curb weight).

W'e looking at all the compact trucks, probably around 1995 vintage (aka "cheap").

According to Remco, this vehicle requires a lube pump for towing. See HERE.
