We tow a '03 Dakota QuadCab. Same basic vehicle with the same drive train. It's a great toad. I think the Durango had optional AWD - if you have that, it may be a different scenario. But if you have the on-demand system, you should be good to go.

we also tow a 05 dakota, great toad! we also own a 05 durango awd hemi it also has the ability to put the transfer case into neutral same as the dakota. but i was looking at the new towing guide in mh mag and it notes that an aux. fluid pump is required on 09 models of the durango but not needed on the dakota.
