There's nothing special about what you're talking about. Agreed, it's heavy, but you see people pulling pickups that weigh about the same all the time?
I like the Ready Brake system for it's lack of electronics and simplicity. They make a tow bar with that braking system built in to it. That's the way I'd go if going new. Otherwise, just make sure you get the type tow bar that stores on the motor home. A little more expensive going into it, but the difference in how easily/quickly they are in use will never stop paying you back every time you hook up.
