Dodge Durango

We have a 1999 Dodge Durango that I am thinking about setting up as our TOAD. I am looking for input on what type of tow bar, elecrtical connections and braking set up. It will be towed four down behind or 2003 Endeavor. I know that it is a heavy vehicle but it is paid for. I did look up in the owners manual, the directions for towing and it seems simple and straight forward.
Our selections here in Alaska may be limited so I may need to wait until we go to the lower '48' to get what all we need.

There's nothing special about what you're talking about. Agreed, it's heavy, but you see people pulling pickups that weigh about the same all the time?

I like the Ready Brake system for it's lack of electronics and simplicity. They make a tow bar with that braking system built in to it. That's the way I'd go if going new. Otherwise, just make sure you get the type tow bar that stores on the motor home. A little more expensive going into it, but the difference in how easily/quickly they are in use will never stop paying you back every time you hook up.
