Dodge Nitro = Can't tow 4 down

I though it was close to teh same spec as the 2008 / 2010 Jeep liberty. I assume it's becasue the transfer case on that unit doesn't have a neutral position. Anyone else have info on this? I do see base paltes for towing are made for the Nitro, I am just not able to get all he info here. Thanks!

I had the same idea to tow Nitro 4 down. You can but you must install the transmission pump system. Very expensive. You can also get the quick disconnect for the drive shaft if you are still able and agile

Too bad, guess I need to run with the Liberty. I like the styling on the Nitro, and found a few priced really well too.
