Does the Flat Tow cable fix the Cherokee Wobble?

I think it is time to check if Jeep has actually fixed the wobble issue by giving the EPS power during towing with the installation of the flat tow cable.

Lets not sidetrack the thread about root cause, but determine if it works.

The poll is asking have you had the wobble WITH the fix installed.
Maybe you have not experienced it yet, but with the right conditions, you probably will.

So for some interesting numbers it also lets you indicate if you experienced the wobble.

Regards,
Dan

Had the wobble one time on a bumpy road that I had traveled on before on 3 other RV trips. 5K miles of towing before experiencing the wobble one time.

Yes....I am surprised so few replies...installing the Flat tow cable myself this weekend (making it automatic switching).
Hate to think the problem is still there.

I believe you missed at least one, Never had the Wobble.
Just my opinion. I've towed 9k miles with no issue in all sorts of conditions from coast to coast.

Not a lot of data, but nonetheless data. Purchased my Trailhawk in April only 1450 driven miles and 200 towed. I had the flat tow harness installed and the charge cable (chevy chassis) before I towed it anywhere. No problems observed. The road was mostly freeway I84 in Idaho, and about 20 miles of less than perfect backroads. Operator error caused the check engine light to come on and an error message to check the power steering. After turning off the switch provided and a single key cycle all was normal.
