Don't get your hopes up on the Elio. There's no factory and only about 3 prototypes, maybe. The startup date is always a year from now. They are happy, however, to collect as many deposits as possible.

Plug the electric car it into an inverter in the RV that is running from batteries being charged by the RV engine alternator.

As of May 4, 2014 it appears that the deal for the Louisiana factory is falling apart. The article I read said that the people in charge of selling the ex GM factory lost faith in Elio's ability to come up with the money and sought out another buyer. Doesn't look good for the 2015 production date.
