Electrical issues towing a 2010 FWD ford escape on a dolly behind class C RB

We are going to tow a FWD 2010 fox escape on a dolly behind a class C RV...If we pull the ignition fuse will that allow towing with the key in ignition unlocked..we have an ACME dolly and need the front wheels to be unlocked...worried about dead battery at final destination...any input appreciated...

I had an Escape but now have the Edge but my installer suggested a 12 volt charge line addition to the electric cable. Solved any toad battery issues.

Sorry, that was the initial tow set-up for the Edge so I didn't have any experience with any other option. The Escape didn't seem to have a problem. Stopping every couple of hours and starting the car to let it charge while you have coffee or lunch is an option.

Get your self a battery charger Solar Panel that you can plug into the cigarette lighter socket and place the panel on the dash of the Toad. Maybe $30 and solves the issue of dead battery.
