Excited!! Towing setup

We just dropped our Damon Challenger and my Saturn Vue off at the shop to have a Ready Brute tow bar / braking system installed!

They are going to install a Blue Ox baseplate on the Vue as well as the break-away kit.

Can't wait for our first big trip to Tennessee in two weeks!

Drats! They either ordered or were shipped the wrong Blue Ox baseplate for my Saturn. Coach work will be done today but they will have my Vue through Monday and then have to take the coach back to finish up the install and calibration.

Patrick, Stephanie, love to see the pics of you all and your new rig on your sikescentral. Great pics and love pics of the 'kids'.

I love that saying on the board I saw in one of the pics about slow down and enjoy life out camping! Amen!

I didn't see pics of the finished TV relocation though...sure would like to see those when you get a chance.

Thanks for sharing and keep us posted on the base plate install .

You're going to love the Saturn Vue/ReadyBrute combination, we're using the ReadyBrute with a Chevy Captiva, which is the same thing as your Vue and have nothing but good things to say about the combination. Connecting/disconnecting is easy and quick, braking system works great, don't even notice the car is back there!
Have fun with your new set-up!

So the base plate has been installed on my Vue. Bad light on the photo below, but looks like they did a good job.

We take the Vue and our coach back to Hitch King to do the final setup and adjustment when my wife gets back from visiting family up north. Only 10 days till our big trip!!

Lincolnboy2, I spent a bit more time on the TV removal cleanup. Got the vinyl covered panel installed on a backing piece. Put the last coat of poly on the oak trip piece and new door slab. More photos are on my blog here: TV Install–Part Two | SikesCentral.com
