While I agree that I too would like a pan or solid surface for my tires to rest on I don't see how if you have the tire straps on correctly the vehicle can "slide" I do have some fore and aft movement, but it is very little and they are not sliding on the dolly frame.

The manual specifically says the car should be left in park with the steering unlocked. I do not leave my vehicle in neutral allowing it to rock.

I am confused by this completely, the EZE tow has removable ramps and I positon them where ever I need for on load and off load and the back tires are not even a part of this process as they never come close to ramp contact.
