F150 flat towing - any issues?

I own a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee that I thought someday would become a great tow vehicle (since my current Ford Escape Hybrid is at the end of it's time). But all the posts that I've read about the death wobble have me thinking differently. Now, I'm exploring the idea of purchasing a new F150 since it seems to be flat towable. Are there horror stories out there about the F150 before I buy one? Please share your experiences (good and bad). Many thanks!

I am towing a 2016 F-150 4x4 with no issues. Simple to put it in towing mode. Only the 4x4 is flat towable as far as I know. I'm using a BlueOx tow bar, BlueOx base plate and SMI AF One braking. Previously I towed a 2005 JGC... enjoy the F-150 so much more than the JGC and it is a breeze to tow.

No problems that I know of, I towed my 2015 and 2016 total of about 10,000 miles with no problems. [moderator edit]

I've not heard any horror stories about F150 toads. We've got about 30k towed miles on ours.

I have a 2013 F150 XLT 4x4 that I recently set up for flat towing. I have the Blue Ox baseplate and tow bar. It was no problem towing, but it sure is heavier that our Jeep Sahara. Mine is rigged for work with 150 galloon fuel tank, heavy steel box rack and tool box.

I tow a 2017 F150 RWD with a drive shaft disconnect. I have a Blue Ox base plate and tow bar, and Stay N Play brake system. Don't need 4WD and the disconnect was cheaper than buying a new 4WD truck.
