Falcon 2 hitch

If I'm driving at a speed greater than 25 and make an emergency stop (foot hard on brake until MH comes to a screeching halt), will my trailer hitch withstand the pressure or buckle and require replacement? Will my toad (Chevy HHR) ram into the back of the MH (I have the Evenbrake 9700 installed in the toad)?

I've not seen this discussed before on iRV2. Any experiences to share?

I have the Falcon 2 with many miles pulling relatively heavy (4500Lbs+) Ford Explorer. Your trailer hitch should not buckle if it is proper rating. The hitch should be min Class 3 (or better class 4). Mine is 10K Lbs and 500 lbs tongue weight rated. I have made some slow speed fast stops that have hit the bar pretty hard, but I have never had to lock up the MH breaks engaging the ABS to avoid a wreck. Hope never have too. So I have not actually ever stressed the Falcon 2 in a full up emergence power slide. Also, I have heard that if you do head on wreck the MH, most any bars will fail in that situation. I'm using the ReadyBrake on the Ford, and this help slow the vehicle reliably and only requires slight adjustment annually - a simple process of adjusting the cable length a little.

I use the Falcon 2 to pull a HHR. I use BrakeMaster air brakes.
If you mounted to the Falcon 2 Safe Zone Instructions. And the supplementary brakes are working. You will have no problem.

There are some variables that you should consider. That tow bar should be as nearly level as possible when connected. You might not like the results in a panic stop if they are not nearly level. Good supplemental brakes on the toad might take some of the load off the tow bar.
