Fiat Toad Brakes?

Question for those that are flat towing a Fiat. Manual of course.
We have a Fiat 500 Abarth that can be flat toad. We have the base plate and tow bar and now Thom is looking at brake systems. Just wondering of those that are towing a Fiat what brake system did you go with? M&G won't work for Fiat cars, not enough room to put the system in according to them. SMI Air Force One is a contender but looking under the hood was curious if anyone had put one in and where? Or what are you using?

After this then off to look at getting a lift for the bike ..... then we will sell the trailer and the 'tub o straps' ....

We just purchased an Abarth. What did you decide to do on the braking system? Thanks.

I know M&G will not work. Emailed them and they said there was not enough room for the equipment.
I think Thom is going to go with AIR FORCE ONE | SMI Manufacturing Inc.

Oh don't forget to registar for the free track day for purchasing the Abarth. https://www.abarthexperience.com/eve...abarthProgram=

Call Fiat and have them send you a manual. What is usually put in the glove box is not the full one.

We use a RVi2 brake system for our Honda Fit. Very simple to use and it works well. It fits right in the the Fit's floorpan, it's light weight, and easy to install.

I went with the Readybrute but since you already have a tow bar it doesn't sound like it would be an option.

If someone decides to go with the Readybrute system be aware that because of the Fiat frame it was a very difficult installation. Fortunately for me the installer stood behind his quoted price even thought he ended up with a lot more time in the project than he anticipated.
