I used the Blue OX site to see what baseplate would fit a 1994 Land Rover Discovery and none showed up. Does anyone know if this vehicle can be flat towed? Looking at one, but only if it can be towed behind our coach.

Thank for any feedback! ;-)

Contact REMCO TOWING, as they have towing info on just about every vehicle.

They have helped many folks.

I had a Discovery Series II up until a couple of weeks ago. There should be no problem towing a Discovery 4-wheels-down. Just put the transfer case in neutral and you are ready.

Refer also to Motorhome Magazine, they do a list of vehicles suitable for flat towing.

However, the Discovery will be heavy (in excess of 4,000 lbs) and quite unreliable too.
