I'm considering purchasing a 2012 Nissan Xterra with the auto trans for a toad. Anyone have experience flat towing the Xterra with a drive shaft disconnect? Appreciate any comments
Thanks,
Jeff

We towed a Pathfinder for many years and used a driveshaft disconnect and it worked great. If I remember correct it cost a total of 1500$. A 1000$ or so for the unit and 500$ labor.
Lot's of luck getting a driveshaft disconnect for anything. Remco sold that part of their business to SuperFlow. Who stopped making them after about 18 months and hasn't resumed production according to posts on other forums.
