Flat-tow Sierra PU

Anyone have thoughts (good/bad) about my '99 Coachmen Santara flat towing a '03 Sierra Duramax PU ?

First, check your owners manual to see if your PU is towable.

Second, your MH's hitch weight rating and GCWR need to be verified.

We towed our GMC / 1/2 ton pu 2001, 4x4 all thru alaska and never a problem. We had a 2005 Gulfstream class a with a 8.1 engine again
never a problem..

grichs--I have a '12 sierra-4wd and I tow it w/a 330hp mercedes dsl--this truck weighs in a some 5k empty---all is ok ---the rocky mts were a lil' tough
