Any one towing a GMC Terain? I was told it could be done by pulling fuse 76. Does anyone else have a Terain and doing this?

Thanks
Happy new year!

A buddy of mine just bought one and has towed about 200 miles so far. You pull fuse #32. The towing procedure is described in the Terrain owner manual under Recreational Vehicle Towing in the Vehicle Care section of the manual.

2012 Terrain Owner Manual

I tow its bigger brother, the Acadia. One fuse to pull on that as well. I installed a switch rather than digging into the fuse box each time.

I towed a Chevy Equinox from Fla to Yellowstone and back with no problems. You do need a supplimental braking system though. The Chevy is essentiall the same thing as a Terrain with fewer bells and whistles. Congratulations on your new car.

I have pulled a 2011 Terrain from Arizona to Florida and from there to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan back to Arizona through Texas with no problems.

I have towed my 2010 Terrain since new. No problems. Just follow the directions in the manual.
