The manual says that once you get the tow enabled screen, you turn the key to the off position or if you have pushbutton, push it once WITHOUT your foot on the brake.
I don't have push button, but when I follow the manual instructions, I do not accrue miles

I have the pushbutton and tested it today. In the off position, it does not accrue miles. I only went 2 miles, however no mileage.

I am currently still setting up the truck. I am going to install a Roadmaster Brakemaster system for the vehicle brake. I would have used the M&G, however the Air box would have to be replaced with a "generic" cone filter in order to move the master cylinder forward. With turbos, I am reluctant to have an "engine compartment intake".

I elected to not wire to the "radar" tailights. I added a LED tailgate bar for toad turn/running/brakes. I will also have the factory "brake lights" when the Brakemaster is activated.

pblake, for starters you don't mention whether your 2015 is a 4WD. Only the 4WD's can be towed and only 4 down. If it is 4WD, then refer to the towing guide in your owner's manual. There is a specific procedure for enabling the flat towing feature.

Suggest anyone looking to flat tow a dinghy, take a look at the annual dinghy towing guide published by MotorHome magazine. The 2015 guide lists only the 4WD version of the F-150. Here's the link: Downloadable Dinghy Guides | MotorHome Magazine

Pblake as has been stated only the 4X4 F150 can be towed 4 down without any other conversion and the 4X4 F150 cannot be towed on a dolly 2 down but the 2 WD F150 can be towed on a dolly 2 down or 4 down with a drive shaft disconnect and that is about it.

I know you have figured out the Answer to your alarm issue on out new f150. We also had the same issue. We do not lock the doors with the remote, we walk around to each door and manually depress each lock button. (Do not carry the remote in your pocket) This will eliminate the alarm issue.
