Im curious what type of wiring harness is used to activate the lights on the Ford.

Don't tow and Edge, a Jeep GC instead. I used separate light sockets for in each tail light for turn and running lights.

The brake system I use is the Brakemaster 9160 air to air braking system, when the brake pedal is depressed the brake lights come on.

Both systems very reliable and easy to install.

I'm now on my third toad vehicle & finally got tired of buying and re-wiring the diodes, etc. with each purchase. Wireless seems to be a reasonable alternative: Now, my attention went to a magnetic "Light Bar" than attaches to the Toad's roof. It comes with a trailer plug "dongle" with a 4 inch antenna wire.[this attaches to the MH's plug connection]. Via either Bluetooth or radio signal...it wirelessly sends the appropriate turn signal indication to the light bar. The light bar is all-LED's approx 28-30 some inches wide and 2" x 2" square in size. It has a 12 foot 12 volt power cord that I simply run thru a convenient door opening or window. Works like a champ; and it's very portable to any vehicle that I might use as a Toad.

Worth your consideration, if you haven't yet already bought the wire kit.

Tow Mate is the brand name.

Not sure I would have forked out the $$$ for the Tow Mate, but it does look like a feasible alternative.

Flat towing

We tow a 2014 Ford Edge. I wired the trailer lights myself with a Roadmaster kit RM-154. Cost about 70 bucks. Not a difficult install. The etrailer website has a great video that walks you thru it. Give it a shot. We used the Roadmaster base plate, RM-4408-1. Etrailer website video walks you thru that as well. Yours for the 2015 should most likely be the same. I installed that as well.

Another TowMate user here! I have the TM3N light pair that I use on my Jeep Wrangler. It looks like we may purchase a second towable vehicle to replace the cheating VW Jetta diesel we own. I will be able to use my RVi2 brake and TowMate lights on whatever new toad I choose. I purchased my towing gear with something like this in mind. Didn't expect the change to occur so unexpectedly but there it is.
