Add brackets, towbar, wiring and braking system. On my '14 I added a charge line and larger battery too. eTrailer sells a nice wiring setup that just connects into your wiring that doesn't need diodes or splicing wires for the lighting. Just unplug your existing wiring in the drivers side rear and plug the module in, then run wiring to the passenger side taillights. Run a 4 wire connection to the front. You will also need a relay and wiring to keep the CR-V's brake lights from overriding the turn signal. Also came from eTrailer.
eTrailer has video's of all this and is a great resource as well as place to buy.
Follow Honda's recreational towing instructions to the letter and you shouldn't have any problems.
I've been using all RoadMaster products for over 10 years and on two RV's and three toweds now. Just need to buy the RV or towed kits to upgrade the braking system.
