Fog Lights on Fiat 500 Sport

We just traded our PT Cruiser on a new Fiat 500 Sport. I read that any manual Cinquecento can be flat towed, but I just thought about the location of the Sport's fog lights. I've also read that a few of you are towing them, and I'm wondering if the fog lights had to be removed to accommodate the brackets. The guy where at the shop where I'm scheduled to have the baseplate installed next Tuesday said he wasn't sure. Hmm...

No removal needed. Enough room is available although I don't have them. I remember reading some slight housing trimming may be needed.

I installed it about a month ago but our first trip will be over Memorial Day. What did u do for lights? I wired mine to existing lights using a wiring kit.

I had the kit installed. What size pin did you use? They installed a 5-pin. Does anything come in black?

We took it on a trip to Death Valley, and up the southern half of California 1. It got a lot of attention, and was fun to drive around.

See that dent on the hood? I have no idea how it got there. I didn't notice it until I got home from the grocery store the other day.

I used a 4 pin. I haven't seen a 4 or 5 pin in black but I have thought of painting mine just haven't got to it. Did you use the roadmaster? I have a blueox. They both hide away nicely!

I guess paint it will be. I was really ticked with them for installing the larger pin especially since I told them to use the four. I went with Roadmaster baseplate because we have their tow bar. They both do disappear nicely.

My rv had a 4 and a 7 that's why I chose the 4. No harm having an extra wire though. I figure no charging needed so the 4 is sufficient. I'm looking forward to my first trip. Should be easy and is lighter than towing my 2 Harley's and trailer!
