? for other 2013 and newer Jeep Grand Cherokee Owners

I own a 14JGC Overland which recently was updated with the latest body computer revision at the dealer. My question for other owners is when shifting into neutral on the 4x4 and then holding the start button to turn off the engine, does the car shut off and automatically go into park? On mine since the revision, it seems to go into ACC and then I have to press the start button several times with foot off brake to get the vehicle to the off position. I seem to remember that before the update, it would just go to off when I held the start button in. My dealer claims that it is operating normally. I am just looking for confirmation from others as to the operation. TIA

The question has been answered on another forum. It is operating as intended, and therefore this topic can be closed.

Even though I do not own the vehicle the OP does he is not the only person on here that does. Why would you suggest closing down this thread just because it has been answered on another forum? Myself and many others that are on THIS Forum do not use any other forums than this one. So, why not give other members a chance to give their thoughts on the OP's problem?

It would be helpful to post that link to help the OP find his answer. I too have not seen that post and would like to see the answers.

There is no need to post a link. If you read what I wrote when I said to close the thread, you will see that I stated that it is operating properly. I thought that prior to the update, that it went straight to off when you held the start button. I was wrong, and others on another forum stated that it does indeed go to the ACC position, and then you have to press the button twice (run position then off). I don't think it is proper to link to another forum.
